Another Week on the Beach, My Heaven on Earth

Another Week on the Beach, My Heaven on Earth

my heaven on earth - the beach
my heaven on earth - the beach

Daily tasks and responsibilities can be overwhelming, thankfully I have the flexibility to get away whenever I need to escape.

I needed to get away for a bit and beach trips always seem to refresh my mind and soul so I packed up and headed for the ocean. Going to the beach’s sandy shores for me is like going to the spa … and it’s a heck of a lot cheaper than visiting a real one. When you take a dip in the refreshing ocean, the seawater does a number of great things for your body, mind and soul.  There’s something so soothing about the beach. Just imagine sitting in a comfy chair or lying on a towel on the sand, and hearing the seagulls welcome you, not to mention the rhythmic sound of the waves hitting the shore. It’s a perfect time to relax and cool your emotional jets.

I drove right up on the sand, popped up the roofnest and took in a big breath of the magical salty air which felt medicinal. My soul felt nourished, my mind cleared and my heart was happy.  I closed my eyes and gave thanks that this is my life and I am able to create and enjoy every moment of it.

Life is so beautiful

I say this often and it keeps me grounded and humble.

I thought to myself, is there anything that time on the beach can’t fix?  In that moment, I realized the beach is the medicine that we all need.

As the sun rose into the sky, that sweet sunshine kissed my forehead – I drew a heart symbol on the beach  and wrote in it My Life Sparkles…. Which becomes more true every day.

There’s something so soothing about the beach. Sitting in a comfy chair or lying on a towel on the sand, and hearing the seagulls welcome you, not to mention the rhythmic sound of the waves hitting the sandy shore. If you’re alone, or even with the person you love it’s a perfect time to relax and cool your emotional jets. One of my favorite sounds in the world is the sound of waves crashing on the beach. One thing I love is to leave the windows open at night so I could hear the waves as they crashed. I get the best night’s sleep while at the beach, scientific research has shown that the sound of the waves actually changes your brain waves, and of course this makes a more relaxed feeling.  I get it, and love it.

It was an amazing week and will become a sweet, beautiful memory.  I will take every moment my toes were wrapped in sand to go back to my blessed and  busy life.   Until next time my forever love, the beach XOXO
